What is VPN and how it works ? | The concept of VPN 🔥

What is VPN ?

VPN stands for Virtual Private Network that creates a tunnel in between your ISP(Internet Service Provider). VPN technology was developed to allow remote users and branch offices to securely access corporate applications and other resources. When a device connected to a VPN, it encrypts user's data between ISP and the device so that no one can steal your data over the connection. The first step to security is usually a firewall between the client and the host server, requiring the remote user to establish an authenticated connection with the firewall. To ensure safety, data travels through secure tunnels and VPN users must use authentication methods including passwords, tokens and other unique identification methods to gain access to the VPN.

How VPN works ?

VPN helps provide a secure mechanism for encrypting and encapsulating private network traffic and moving it through an intermediate network. From the users perspective, the VPN is a point-to-point connection between the user's computer and a corporate server. You can also get access to those websites which is blocked via public internet connection.

A VPN is a private network that uses a public network (usually the Internet) to connect remote sites or users together. The VPN uses virtual connections routed through the Internet from the business's private network to the remote site or employee.

Beside those, VPN is used for another porous also. A vast ammount of people uses the VPN service to prevent the hackers from knowing their own IP Address. A VPN can change user's IP Address so that no one can know his/her location. People uses this for their security purpose. But many heakers also uses this to hide their original IP Address. Through a VPN connection you can unblock websites that is blocked in your country.
