Reliance Jio giving 1.1 TB data completely free to it's broadband users !

Reliance Jio Fiber offers 1.1 TB free data

Reliance Jio is expected to launch its Jio Fiber broadband service soon, in all major metropolitan cities, with additional 1.1 TB data for its users. Jio Fiber has been in testing since September 2016, in limited cities, and the company has been offering preview plans with free data to its fiber-to-home users.

Recent reports claim that the ‘Initial plan’ being offered to users provides upto 1.1 TB data of Jio Fiber Net. Jio Fiber FTH broadband services are currently being tested in selected cities including Chennai, Ahmadabad, Mumbai, New Delhi and many more. The company has started offering fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband connections with 1.1TB of free data at a speed of 100mbps in select cities in the country.

As a part of its initial FTTH plan, the company plans to give away 100GB of free data at a speed of 100mbps. Once that data limit is exhausted, users will be able to opt for a top-up of 40GB of free data 25 times in a month, which basically means that the company is giving away 1,100GB of data free to its users in a month.

The internet service provider (ISP) is planning to roll out its JioFiber service for both commercial and household users where it is aiming for 100 million television users across 30 cities in the country. As far as the residential services of JioFiber are concerned, users will be able to connect multiple devices using Jio's dual band JioFiber Home Gateway.

The report said that interested customers can get JioFiber connection by paying an interest-free refundable security deposit of Rs 4,500.

The Jio router can be also used as a set-top box when the company launches internet protocol television (IPTV) services.

Reliance Jio recently said that it has begun trials for enterprise solutions, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and the Internet of Things (IoT) services in the country.
